Death benefit

In the event of the Member’s / Employee’s death, the Sum Assured as specified in the Certificate of Insurance shall be payable to the Nominee

In case of lender borrower schemes, in the event of the Member’s / Employee’s death under Regulated Entities , the Outstanding Loan amount, shall be payable to You, the Master Policyholder with prior authorisation from the Member at inception, out of the total Death Benefit otherwise payable to the Nominee. Any residual benefit shall be paid to the Nominee or Beneficiary, as applicable

In case of lender borrower schemes under Other Entities , the Sum Assured shall be payable to the Nominee, in the event of the Member’s demise

Once the Benefit has been paid to the Nominee or Beneficiary, the Member Coverage shall terminate and no further benefits shall be payable
